I’m Amanda (better known as Mandi) and I am a 29 year old stylist of 11+ years in the industry. I got licensed right out of high school and have done hair ever since.

I started in a small studio room out of my mom’s house at the age of 19. From there, I went on to run my own business as a booth renter. I traveled and did education for hair until I decided to start a family right before the start of the pandemic.

In 2021, I went on a leave of absence to continue to grow my family and begin homeschooling my children. By 2024, I came back to the industry part-time. Fast forward to present day, I am a full time stylist and content creator, as well as owner of Booked by Mandi Hair Studio out of Rocky Hill, CT.

I love doing lived-in, effortless, and low maintenance hair. I love healthy, shiny, bouncy hair that feels like you but better. I focus on educating my clients on all things hair so that they have the confidence to take care of their investment at home. I truly care about all guests and how they feel both during the service and afterwards. My space will always be safe and full of laughter.

My clientele mainly consists of book lovers, mothers, educators, and care takers. I’m so lucky to be able to call all of my clients friends. We genuinely have the best time together. I’d love to continue to cultivate a clientele full of like-minded women as I’m actively growing my business.
